Woo, what a day. I went to bed around 2:00 a.m. (lol, that was technically today), and got up around 9:30 a.m. I just sat around for a while, actually. I watched TV and ate a braekfast of pancakes. I was planning to go over Alissa's house around 1:30 p.m. My parents planned to get my traveler's checks for Hawaii today. However, it turns out I need to sign them. SO, I had to shower, get dressed, and be rushed over to AAA. At Triple A, I saw Brian and Steve. They both waved to me, but Brian noticed me when I first came in, and Steve saw me close to when they were leaving. Heh. By the time I got home, freshened up, and got to Alisa's house, it was about 2:00 p.m. -.- No biggy. I played some Final Fantasy X (for her) and then Rick showed up. That bum shaved his head again! Bleh, it annoys, especially since I like long hair. But then again, long hair wouldn't look good on Rick. xD So we watched TV, played games, and ate over her house. We had spaghetti. ^^ During ones of our "games," I kind of injured Rick's toe. Eheh, I'm a rough girl, what can I say? xDDD (Perhaps you shouldn't take that seriously o_O) Then we took a bike ride to the beach, where my capris got soaked (we walked in about thigh-length water). We spotted several horseshoe crabs. It was very calm, and the water felt good. This was about 8:00 p.m., around sunset. When we arrived back at Alissa's house and just talked. Talking with your friends is a good way to discover things and work things out (xD). And well, other stuff that happened was a little bit too personal to mention, especially since some people may overact. Let's just say I got my share of attention for the day. I'm quite confused, and I'll have to wait till after Hawaii to settle things out. Overall, it was a wonderful day to spend wih two of my best friends...
I may not write anymore, because I still have a lot of packing and othes things to do. I'll be in Hawaii! Here's a Hawaii-themed qiz for you. Lol, yeah... corny.
yeah..conch shell! that means you're smart!

I go to Hawaii in... 3 days. Right now I am looking for stores in Hawaii that sell Asian music products (via online). You know... so I can be prepared. Lol. I really want to seek out Jrock stuff, and people that like Jrock. Yes, I know. I will probably die in Hawaii or something if that sort of case comes up. But that's ok, I'll come to eventually!!! So far, I've come across one site that told me where I can buy Japanese products... but they were all in Honolulu. I am landing there, but I probably won't have time to stray anywhere from our route, let alone go looking for things I want to buy for 8 hours. I have some free time in Oahu and Maui. *sigh* Maybe I'll get lucky and see some shops as I'm walking down the street. AH! I should of asked Dave if he happened to see any when he went there. I was talking to him the other day. We had a jolly conversation. xD Oh, another thing. I don't know if any of my friends would want to come with me... Well, Justine might. Actually, she probably would go if I went. Steph, on the other hand, would not. She just likes "Vanilla" and I don't think she's getting any deeper in this stuff. Lol. Hey hey hey! I'm quite tired. Today I had to get up at 7:00 a.m. for band practice. >_< It annoyed, because I'm used to getting up like, around eleven to... um, one. Before I left, I had a fight with myself over whether to change into sneakers or not (I was wearing sandals). I knew that marching "requires" sneakers. But, I told myself, "Hey, it says nothing about marching on this lil slip of paper, just a rehearsal. We're probably just running through the tunes."
I was wrong -.-; Mr. C made this big speech about the overwhelming presense of flip-flops. I felt really awkward, but at least I wasn't the only one. Well, I was still able to march! XP (Hehehe... yeah.) Everyone was complaining about the hotness, but I loved it. I could march out in the 90 degree sun all day! ^_^ And I was wearing long capris and a long-sleeved blouse over my tank top. o_O
SO anyway... I'm leaving for Hawaii Wednesday. I won't be blogging during that time (Ormaybe... xD) sorry. But when I come back, you can bet I'll have loads to share with you. ^_^ Hm.... was I going to say something else? Urh... I can't remember. Blogging takes me a long time -.-; OH YEAH! I downloaded this video clip of Dir en grey introducing an album (Thanks to my katakana translating skills I know album is "arubumu" xDD Or... something o.o;) and they all talk! Well, each one has one line, to introduce themselves. Kyo talks the most, and Die has some extra in there too. Shinya was the first to talk. It was wonderful to see AND hear him talk!!! ^__^ I am so crazy over Shin-Shin, it confuses me, even. And also, now I know who is talking when during the telephone answering machine message .mp3. Heheh. I think.
Last thing of the day, I discovered this really cool site. It is a diary of this guy from New York who moved to Japan, to seek out jrock. He goes to a lot of concerts, and he writes about them!!! ^_^ He includes nice pictures and video-like gifs. He explains things really well, also. Makes me want to go to jrock concerts even more. The site is http://www.jrocknyc.com/
Have fun, ja ne!

Hellooo!!! How is everyone? For some reason, I am in a good mood. Hmm... yesterday we went to the recording studio. It was fun... sort of xD First we arrived at the school. The Latin Jazz band rehearsed, but we, the Jazz Band, did not. You know what they say, practice makes perfect. And since we didn't need to practice, that means we are perfect already, ne? xDD Hah, I'm kidding, folks. But we all know that the jazz band is better *rolls eyes.* Watch me get jumped on Thursday. Ms. M calls us the "Big Band." ^_^
I sat next to Heather on the bus, in front of Eric and Jon. They are great to listen to. Hehe.
When we got there, the Latin Jazz band played first, so the Big Band relaxed in this lounge type area. It was a small room with a TV, sofa, chair, and an adjacent kitchen. Well, we raided the kitchen and watched Match Game for some time. Lol, they took a really long time. Then we finally got to record our songs. My solo was better than it was at the Afternoon of Jazz. The songs that will be on the CD are Moondance, St. Thomas, and maybe Low Rider. I (and others) was pissed because the Latin Jazz Band got to eat pizza while we were performing and there was none left for us. >: Well, anyway... I can't wait to get our CD! :)
Today was such a boring day. I was supposed to go to the mall, but I overslept. I played The Sims and cleared out the computer room. So, tomorrow I'm going to the mall. Gotta get a new swimsuit for when I go to Hawaii.... next week??!! O_o Wow, the time just flys by, huh? Till next time!~

Wahoo, yesterday I went to Katie and Justine's birthday par-tay. It was quite fun. They were all watching anime when I got there, so I had to sit through Fruits Basket for a while. Then we went downstairs, and I tried my hand at tether-ball... or should I say, I tried my face. I got whacked in the face with the ball. It hurt. It seems whenever I take up a physical activity, I always get hurt. I'm a klutz, or something. Then later Alissa managed to fling her shoe right into my face. After, Alissa went to go kick the tether-ball ball and she missed. Her shoe went flying into the lake. xDDD They had to fish it out. When we were listening to music, Kate video taped me dancing to Gackt's "Vanilla." Rest asured, she now has substantial blackmail material in her posession. x_x lol, I trust her, though. I think.
Tomorrow the jazz bands go to the recording studio. Oh yeah, my dad got me The Sims: SuperStar. It's really coo', but I haven't gotten far yet. Well, I'm not in a mood for going into detail about anything. So, I'll take a quiz. ^_^

Guess what? NOOO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! WoOoOoOo!!! Today was my last day! *Heaves bookbag into oversized dumpster* :D
Lol, I'm so lucky. Most people have school tomorrow, but I don't. Tomorrow is the final exams for periods 6 and 5, but I have study hall and gym, so I don't have any more exams. Hmm, how were the exams?
Spanish - All in all, easy. I feel like I did a good job; at least an A-.
English - Painfully easy. Well, there were a few questions I wasn't sure about. Plus she gave extra credit- questions about her daily-life stories she tells in class. -_-;
Civilizations - Multiple choice = easy. Essays = long, but easy. Article & Questions = Annoying.
Algebra - HARD. I hate it, I am so glad that class is over. ;_; Maybe I'll get lucky and misjudge my performance. I may get a B, you never know. I got a C on the midterm. v_v;
Band - Well, we watched the senior video (they must learn to use black text on backrounds like that, not white -.-;) and rehearsed for next-year's half-time show. Ooh yeah, I was made an assisant section leader for the clarinets next year! :D Mike, Eric, and Gene are the leaders; Randy and I are the assistants. Wow, I'm the only girl AND the only sophomore. Everyone give me a hand. Lol. Eric called me "Assistant Kelly." xD
Biology - Well, let's just say I'm getting at least a B. It was hard, and yet... I dunno. There was 170 multi-choice and 60 short answers worth 3 points each... so couldnt get like, 50 wrong and still get an A plus? O_o It's hard to put it all in perspective, I'll leave that to B-wood, which I'll probably regret. xD;
So... Technically the last day of school is something like the 24th, but we don't have to go back once we've taken our exams. And of course I am not going. Heck, with all this stuff I got to do, it's gonna feel like school isn't over. And I've come to the conclusion that BAND NEVER ENDS. Well, for committed members like me.
Tomorrow the band has to play at the graduation ceremony.
Monday the jazz bands are going to a recording studio to record our songs, I guess onto a CD or something. Cool, eh?
Thursday is a mandatory meeting for those going on the Hawaii trip. Side note: I just ate a fortune cookie. It says: "Traveling this year will bring your life into greater perspective." O_o I don't know whether to be excited or scared, but I trust the Chinese. xD Ooh, speaking of Chinese today on TV there was a program completely in Mandarin or something, the text was Chinese, too. I watched it just to hear the language. Whoa, sorry, getting waaay off topic. xDD
After that, we have about a week before we are shipped off to Hawaii. Woo-hoo.
After we come back (and recover from jetlag), we're going to Bailey to welcome all the 9th graders coming into band this year. I want to go, to see what are new additions are alike, and also because I feel more obligated, being an asistant section leader. Heheh. Ms. M told us a lot of the new clarinetists can't play over the break. o_O I learned that in 5th grade. Then again, few were privelged to have Mr. Crabtree be their elementary school band teacher. ^_^ Mr. C was so cool, he put me in the second Essential Elements book by 5th grade. So, in middle school, everyone carried with them the first one, which was purple. I stood out with my green book, and I had fun explaining to people why mine was a different color. I also found it odd no one else was in the second book. Mr. C was a great teacher. I just wished that I learned more stuff in middle school. -.-; But in high school I'm already learning more, and teaching others, too.
Well, I've rambled on for long enough. Excuse me while I try to fix my images on this stoopid blog. - - Cya!

ª Monday, June 16, 2003

WOOOO, last day of regular school! Yay! ^_^ Now all I have is four days of finals. Today I have to study for English and Spanish. English will be extremely easy, I probably don't even have to study. Spanish won't be a piece of metaphorical cake, nor real cake. But, it will be the easiest out of all the other ones (not English). That is not counting band. So, I get the two languages out of the way early. Then I have civilizations and Algebra, the day I am really worried about. Then comes band and Biology. Biology is hard, but I'll remember the stuff more easily.
This past Saturday was "The Afternoon of Jazz" at the high school. We stayed from 11:30 to about 5:30, so it took up a chunk of the day. -.- My solos were.... bleh. I could've done worse. Speaking of band, Wednesday I have to go to Bayer to give a small concert. Then, on Friday, I have a performance. I have no idea what we are playing. Then on Monday the jazz bands have to go to a recording studio, and we're gonna put our songs on CDs, I guess. I'll have to buy one. Band is a large portion of my life, geez. I don't know about doing all this stuff next year, because of Images, mostly. Oh yeah, I wonder when we are getting our report cards. Oh well.
Until next time, Chao.

ª Friday, June 13, 2003

AHHHHH......... Is this week really over..? Or is it just an llusion? O_o This week has been one of the longest for me. Let's see... when was the last time I added an entry? Oh, exacty a week ago. Well, on Saturday I played video games for a few hours, then worked on my science packet. I worked from like, 1:00 to 6:00. It was long. x_x On Sunday I went to the mall with my friends. I only bought an anklet and a mood ring from Hot Topic. Oh, and Dippin' Dots. I guess I wasn't in a buying mood. Monday was normal. I had to stay after for band, and Tuesday was the same. Wednesday night was our band concert. It went pretty well. Could have gone better, though. I sat next to Gene, so he was good company, even though some say I shouldn't talk to him. xD
Thursday was annoying. I got hit in the face with a hig-speed soccer ball, plus I fell. They made me go to the nurse. I've never been there before, so I didn't even know where it was. I felt stupid. 7th and 8th period the jazz bands performed for elementary school kids, to get them into music and band, or whatever. We have been better. My solo didn' go disaterous, but I need a new reed. After that, no one was there, Steph and Nicole had gone home. I did not see my mom, so I walked home. >:( When I got home, my mom was not there. I walked up to Steph's house. She said she called me my mom and told her to come pick me up. I guess I already started to walk home before she left. So, I walked back home again. I do not carry a key, because my mom is (usually) always home. Instead of sitting on the front porch, I left her a note on the door and went around to the side. I heaved my books and bookbag over the 8-foot tall fence, and then somehow managed to climb up and over it. My mom came home about an hour later. And Friday, today... the 13th. Heheh. First of all, my algebra teacher suggested that I switch over to Geometry Honors next year, instead of Academic Geometry. I was thinking of doing that anyway, so I agreed. You know what that means? I have ALL honor classes next year, except for Spanish and of course band... and gym & health. You know, all academics. -_- Grrreat. I also took the super-hard science test today. This may be redundant, but it was HARD. The essay was actually the easiest part. BLeh. Then I watched the jazz bands play, but I wasn't in jazz band this time. I had to go to an images meeting after school, so I wouldn't have had time to play all the songs, anyway. ;_; Images is an extremely difficult class I'm taking my sophomore year (next year). It is a combo of social studies and English. It's two classes, with two teachers (One of them being my current civilizations teachers, Trenchard). We have to read a book, a chapter in our new text book, and write essays and notes on each. Whee. Oh, and this is all due the day we come back to school. x_x Except for one assignment, which is due August 4th. We have two tests the 2nd day we come back, also. Aigo, this is so nerve-racking. BUT, I signed up for it, and I will do the best, which I think will be good enough. Well, that's all I have to say right now. Oh wait, something else. Four more days of school left!!! :D All finals, too. I have to do some serious studying. Well, on that lovely note, I bid you good-day. ~

Thank God it is Friday. Fridays are so great. Today we performed our little skit in Spanish and got a 96, the highest grade in the class! I'm happy because of that. ^_^ Gillian was, too. I got a 97 on my science test, and that's with a 10-point curve.
You know, I have not "gamed" since, like... forever. And by that, I mean like, a month. At least. o_O I can't wait for summer vacation, lol. We get out on the 24th, but exams end before that, I think. According to Trench, we have about 12 days left. Yaay~. Hmm. Well, I guess I'll take a quiz. Oh wow, would you look at that- Quizilla has ratings now (Adult, mature, teen, etc.). It doesn't really matter.... :P

WOOOO, it's over! Well, the civ project, that is. We had fun, but I'm so glad that video is done. It's so funny! The best part is at the end, when we were n our togas, waving at passing cars. Jon high-fived a passing bicyclist. xDDD It was great. Jon is like, one of the funniest kids I know. Ilove his sense of humor, it is the greatest. Well, except for maybe some of those jokes he tells... lol. Hmm, I don't know if he's been here yet. I guess I should show him this the next time he comes on. Whhee. Oh, he kissed my hand in the video, too. That was fun. Ok, I shall cease now.
Hm... I don't know what else to say. Oh, I have to do my science packet. I really want to spell packet with two T's. Packett. That looks cool. Once school is out, I shall cheer. I want to go over Rick's house and play video games with Jon. I want to make nonsensical videos with Alissa. I want to go on Rick's boat. I want to go to Hawaii and see all the Polynesians!!!! I want to build my Honda S2000 model. I want to write fanmail to Shinya (Maybe...). Well, I'm out of things to say. I'm gonna go watch the Jibun Kakumei video. It's been a while. LOL. See yaz.

ª Friday, May 30, 2003

Hi. Today was good. ^_^ Well, parts of it were good. First, I think I did well on my tests... Especially considering I didn't really study well. Then in band, I did a solo thing. The senior that usually does it, Natasha, was not there. And so, after canceling out all the frontward upper-classmen people... er, I was "volunteered." So, I tried doing it, and.... I did it, to say the least. I know that you're supposed to be random with your cadenzas, take it at a comfortable pace, but I feel guilty because all the other people have to hold their note(s) until I finish. ^_^; May sound stupid, but... Oh well. I need to gain more confidence and speak to more people. Actually, I was suprised at the amount of voices encouraging me. xD
After school was annoying. We needed people for our project, because "he" ditched us again. -_- And the other was punished. And so, we found two back-ups, going to two wrong houses in the first place. We filmed the first scene. It was raining while we put our togas on. And it was embarassing, walking in front of the school dressed like that. After that, it was smooth sailing.
HAHAHA, no pun intended! xD See, my sailor friend came over, as well as one of the back-ups, and Steph and Alissa. We had fun filming the scene where I die (-_-; Ironic...). Rick was afraid I'd break his snake's neck. xDD Yea, he's the one who sails. Cleopatra died of a snake bite suicide, supposedly. Rick has a real snake, so we used that. Just a corn snake, but it's like, 6 feet long. It was really desperate to slither out of my hands. x_x I was slightly afraid that it would bite me, but it didn't. Yay. xD
Well, not much else to say. I'll update when I get this project done. Until then!~

Well, it is Thursday. It feels like the last time I updated was at least before Monday. You're probably wondering about the project I am facing. Maybe you aren't. Well, anyway, it's not going much better. There is a problem, among others. You see, today we were supposed to do a scene after school. It is a very small scene, with only two people. BUT, or course... one of those two couldn't make it. And the other couldn't come until 4:30 p.m. You see, about that... there is a concert at our school tonight. I have to be there at 6 o'clock. -___- It is an ensemble concert. It shall feautures soloists, duetists (?), and ensembles. I am in the clarinet choir, along with my partner for the project. So, looks like another wasted beautiful day. ;_; Everyone says they will be free tomorrow. TGFF (For). I'll tell you if all goes well. If not, I won't because... um... I'll be dead.
Ah, I'm currently listening to Jibun Kakumei- 2003. In case you don't know, it is by a Japanese rock artist named Miyavi... previously known as Miyabi. I am obsessed with this song, or, more specifically, the video. He has blue hair, and there's two of him arguing, and he smashes stuff with a sledge hammer!!! What fun! Plus he is sooooo cute, he just oozes sexshieness. He has this playful cuteness about him. Ah, it's just great to watch him. But, he wears these annoying oogly shoes when he's kicking the TV. :( xD
Well, I better go offline. I am execting a call from one of the clarinetists. We still have not decided on our offit for the concert tonight. -.-; Well, Sayonara, minna-san.

I've never been so pissed off and terrified at the same time. In case you don't know, I am a good student. I try my best most of time, and I am not happy with grades less than in the A range, unless something is hard or something. I have a social studies project due next Tuesday. Yesterday, Sunday, two acquaintanceships of mine were supposed to come over and film the first scene of our movie. My two other friends come over. An hour goes by. Two hours. We take a trip to Taco Bell for lunch. I try the chicken quesadilla. It is good. We go home. They are not there. We call approxiamately 15 times. No answer. I am on the verge of staking one person in particular out. We sit around the rest of the day, playing cards, etc. Then, the brother of the forementoned person calls us. We explain our situation. He says he will talk to our.. friend. Today I talk to the person. He seems to be apologetic. I put my trust in him, just because... well, I have no choice. If this ends in failure... *shakes head* NO, This will not end in failure. IT NEVER DOES!!!
Oh, happy Memorial Day. My dad is a Veteran. Vietnam. You know, not all Vietnam vets are crazy lunatics ready to erupt. It is pouring here. The parade was postponed till next week. No marching! Yay! I normally wouldn't mind, but... you know. Excuse me while I start my sciene assignment. See past entries for more details...

Hello, everyone. I am really tired, I'll tell you. This week has been really nerve-racking. You see, I have this cvilizations project. Oh, yes, I have mentioed it quite a time before, you know. It is the story of Cleopatra, Marc Antony, Octavian/Augustus Caesar, etc. It is due not next Tuesaday, but the following Tuesday. Oh, the project is actually being done by me and my partner, Steph. This week has been so worksome (...) for us. We called about 6 people yesterday, with humorous results most of the time. For example, one mother claimed her child was out "sailing." At 6:00 at night. In the rain. On a Thursday. x_x You may find this strange, but if you knew the kid, you'd understand he is prone to doing these sort of things. And, ironically, this is the kid who says he will be busy and not be able to help us. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. >.< A lot of people have no life. Well, you have too uch of a life, you know that? I don't know how it's possible, but you do. How can your friends depend on you if you are out sailing or biking or camping or doing some other miscellaneous fun activity? Gosh, I envy you.... and yet, I dunno. Just keep on drummin' (Have no idea where that came from X_x).
Ok, I'm done with my rant. Excuse me while I go ponder this whole "education thing" and the losing my compassion there of.... And while I go (attempt to) call my sailor.

Agh, I feel... sick. Perhaps it is because I am. Perhaps it is because I have allergies. Well, let's just say I'm all stuffed up and congested. I've been like this for about 3 days. It feels like a week. I was going to start exercising too... Aw ( :D ).
Well, there's not much of school left. That is good. But, my teachers (two in particular) have gone erratic with work. I have a big social studies project due June 3rd and a whole unit of biology to do. This "unit" includes reading 9 chapters in our textbook, taking notes on everything we read, doing a 58-page worksheet packet, and taking a test on everything June 12th. Also, we can't ask questions on our home unit during class. So, we are on our own to learn everything about the human body and then show up to class and take one big ol' test. What is the point of teachers, then?! Pt.
About this blog... I want to do a lot. First, I want to change my info around. That won't take to long. But I also want to get a separate page for any fanlistings and/or cliques because there are still some I want to join. I don't want this to be more cluttered than it is. I may add some other things, too. You don't have to worry about any of this. I should, but I probably won't. Why? I will be too busy with science and social studies. During the summer I will be in Hawaii for about a week and I have an assignment for my future Images Across America class... which is the hardest class in the school, suposedly. x_x I'm going from one extreme to the other in English. This year I took English I Academic, which is easy, it is painful. Something tells me I won't even have time to take note of the pain next year... Well, that's all. I'll write again (not) too soon!

Hello! Hurray, a new layout(finally)! This time it feaures Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2. It looks like a really good game. I am antcipating it. Yeah, Tiff coded it up for me. She's so nice! xD The picture is kind of blurry, but the scheming is "nahs"! Oh, I did the picture, by the way. ^^; I spent quite a long time making it, too. I also made all the little spades you see on this site. Which I guess is no big deal, really. I was thinking of Rikku's gambler outfit when doing that. Hehe. There were some problems. For example, none of my fanlistings are there anymore, and neither is my counter. My info has been changed back to its original state, which is deeply annoying because I had all different bands and links and stuff. What happened? -.- Eh...
Well, on Tuesday we did go to Bayer, this big scientific lab place in our city. Our group measured the rate of the river outside. It involved getting into the water with big rubber boots, but I didn't go in this time. ^_^ A few months ago we took the trip before, and I spent almost the whole time in the water, collecting little bugs and microorganisms. Actually, it was kind of fun... but too much of a hassle. After that we went inside part of the building and got to go on an exclusive tour. It was very cool, but the stuff looked so expensive and easily-broken it made me nervous a little.
On Wednesday I started to play soccer in gym. I was congratulated on my performance 4 times. o_O I don't play soccer, either. There were a few times I either made a good pass or stole the ball away, and one of the players asked me my name, and he has been cheering me on since, which gets me kind of embarrased and flustered. Today, Friday, I wasn't that good. But overall, soccer isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I just hope I don't make a fool of myself. I need to get more athletic, darn it. -.- Getting in better shape wouldn't be a bad side-effect, either.
Well, it's late. But I better fill my fanlistings and counter back in. -.-; Happy Trails!
